Evaluation of Sustainability for Coal Consumption Using a Multiattribute Decision-Making Model

The study of coal consumption has become a focus academic attention due to ecological and environmental concerns. This proposed method evaluate sustainability for by using multiple-attribute decision-making (MADM) model. data used are from the China Statistical Yearbook Energy over years. MADM model consists attributes (standards), their importance weights, alternatives. comprehensive evaluation system consumption, which was composed four first-grade indicators including strength (CS), energy dependency (ED), social development level (SL), population size (PS) corresponding 20 second-grade indicators, included in as (standards). weight determined entropy (EWM) analytic hierarchy process (AHP), while years considered an alternative. indices were obtained through multiobjective optimization, then weights optimization carried out overall objective years, sustainable obtained. results show that China’s is sustainable, with composite assessment index rising 0.058 2011 0.837 2021, increase 13.4 times.
